Sewing School Projects

Empowering women from socially backward segment has been an important focus area for Love India. Women and girls, especially from financially challenged sector are in dire need of self-sustenance amidst various cultural and social bottlenecks and economic hardships. We help such women folk and girls who have no wherewithal to afford formal education or training by enabling them to be financially self-sufficient by imparting vocational training on life skill such as sewing & tailoring. This helps lift their families out of poverty and gives them a hope and a future.
Women and girls who have been identified from such segment are given completely free training by professionals on sewing and tailoring. This nine months certificate course with extensive hands on training equips them to be employed in the garment manufacturing industry. All who complete this course are also gifted a free sewing machine, thus enabling them to start their own cottage industry and be financially independent.
