Adult Literacy

Literacy has been a daunting challenge for India, especially when there is a wide gender disparity. While the male literacy rate is around 82% the female literacy is only around 65%. Poverty and illiteracy go hand in hand, thus literacy goes a long way in alleviating poverty. In our effort to uplifting the poor and un educated women, we at Love India, focus on this segment to impart necessary reading and writing skills with basic math to enable them to manage their day to day affair. This not only equips them to get employed but also lift their quality of life for the better. Our adult literacy program has managed to give new beginning to countless underprivileged women for their own betterment and also for the betterment of their community.
