Why Orphan Care?
Every child deserves a happy and healthy childhood and the opportunity to build a brighter future, unfortunately not every child is blessed with a good family and both parents. The number of orphans and abandoned children in the world is increasing day by day due to natural or man-made causes, according to UNICEF.Almost 10,000 children become orphans every day . While it is not possible to prevent children from becoming orphans and vulnerable, so much can be done to reduce factors causing orphan hood. In order to provide good care and education to such children for a secured and a bright future, we started Orphanage Project in the 80s in New Delhi.
Our Endeavours
Till June 2021, under residential policy, we were helping several orphan children by providing them with comfortable accommodation as well as food, clothing and education. House parents who love and take care of these children live with these kids and provide them with the love and security that they need to live and grow up and have a dignified life. From June 2021 onwards, we have changed the policy of the Orphanage and have made it available for other States of India as Orphan Care Project. Real Orphans will be financially helped for their education and food through the Foster Parents or Guardians. In this way, more needy Orphan Children could be taken care of. Our vision is to start many more of these Orphan Care Projects all over India ; so that we could extend our helping hand to benefit the countless children who are orphans and have no way to come up in life.
